Formé en 2016 à Nantes, Silent Seas propose un death moderne, inspiré par des groupes tels que Strapping Young Lad, Meshuggah, Hacride. Jouant avec des échanges mélodiques basse/guitare, et des changements de rythme brutaux, Silent Seas enregistre son premier EP "Temples Always Stand" au Brown Bear Recording (44) et le sort en février 2019.
Le second EP "ERA" sort quant à lui en Mai 2021
