Warlord by Defiant & Rame

We are very excited to be presenting you all with this high powered grime collaboration between Nottingham’s Rame and the rapidly rising production prowess of Defiant. The pair join forces on the latest Simply Deep chapter, putting together an absolute corker of a composition, showcasing Rame’s heavyweight vocal structure and high energy performance alongside Defiant’s instantly impactful production style.

We begin with a high intensity introduction, consisting of arpeggiating violin movements and chilling choir vocal melodies, coupled with sirens, barking and a load of other grimey FX. Come the breakdown we are introducing to old school style moogy subs and skippy drum designs, providing an energetic structure for Rame to run wild across with creative vocal structure and lively 16’s. This is a match that makes perfect sense and has delivered with top draw results, giving both parties an opportunity to portray their sounds down to the T.
