as the children swing
the headlines read world-war three is coming
as science knocks another block off religion
it's safe to say that no one agrees on freedom.

So I'll set my sights on a different sun
near the ocean
I'll leave this state with 10,000 lakes for
a mojito and some johnny cakes
she's got some friends from a lonely town
I don't know their names but I know for sure
they make their claims
so girl what can you really say?
I've got no godamn reason to stay

so we'll walk walk walk around the oceans
