Slowrip formed in Brisbane / Meanjin in 2020 as a home demo project comprised of members from local heavyweights Velociraptor, Babaganuoj & Tiny Migrants. Over the course of the year the band crafted their goth / post-punk sound and transitioned from the confines of the bedroom to the live sphere. Slowrip’s sound is equal parts familiar, unique, furious, controlled and unpredictable
