Inner Tribe by Solar Based

This album is part of a long process of creation. It took more than one year to make beats, basslines, samples, new simple cycle waveforms to create new sounds and textures, and much more.

It contains 13 downtempo tracks, but all of them are heavily influenced by other genres like ambient, psychedelic, trance, acid, progressive and electronic music.

It is a very special album, it was recorded in a live performance without any cuts, using different hardware devices, with the Korg Electribe 2s as the main brain.
It was a long journey, almost like a miracle, filled with diverse experiences, discoveries, and different feelings.

I want to thank all the people who helped me learn to use the hardware, especially those I met in specialized Facebook groups about the Electribe 2 and music hardware.

Against the tendency to make music with DAWs, with all the features that great new technology brings , this EP was recorded in a live performing session at a home studio using only hardware devices. This was done to fill it with all the old - school feelings, giving more emphasis to the music than to the modern production technique or technology.

The principal hardware was the Korg Electribe 2s as the main brain, but other devices were invited to this party, including the Behringer TD3, Roland S1, Roland MC101 , Zoom MS70CDR guitar pedal, and Korg miniKaoss in different parts of the tracks. After recording, some adjustments were necessary to meet the standards of the music industry, and a couple of small details were also added .

I must mention that it is a completely 100% handmade music album.
