Source Foray by Various Artists

I'm proud to announce Somnambulant Drift's second release, Source Foray. It's a compilation of songs from ten artists I deeply respect. I gave few guidelines when it came to style, knowing that I could count on each artist to provide something unique. I wanted to let the eventual repertoire speak for itself.

Some contributors are not known for ambient work, which made the potential outcome even more exciting to anticipate. What resulted was, to my delight, a wide variety of enthralling music that eludes classification. It ranges from lush wallpaper to spooky improvisation, touching on dubby oceanscapes, bouncing synth basslines, and intricate melodies along its 60-minute run.

I’m honored to have pulled together such an important cast of musicians for this album, and I’m excited to share it with the world.
