begam puraa sahar ko naao

A place without despair, Begampura, the name of the city
Agony and anxiety are not in that refuge
No stress or taxation, no property
No fear of fault, no denial of mercy
Now I have found my splendid homeland and abode
There, peace is always, my brother
Secure and lasting, always sovereign
None are second or third, all are one
Fully inhabited and eternally famous
Those who dwell there are rich and content
They stroll freely, wherever they wish
They know the inner-palace, no one blocks their way
Says Ravidaas, a shoemaker set free
Those who live there with me are my friends
