Floating by sleeping with shoes on
Floating is a Jazzy Lo-fi ride-along that brings the listener on a calming daydream of positive thoughts, drifting in and out of smooth and wavy melodies. It started with a beautiful vintage sample, where it was dissected and chopped. I then created a melody from the chops and built drums around that melody— adding supporting synthesizer sounds and textures. All inside the SP404.
