wack cylinders by stAllio!

live performance is the bane of the electronic musician. determined to actually do something on stage, stAllio! turned to improvisation. throughout the 2000s he developed a performance style based around dj equipment, cds full of appropriated material, chance operations, and (increasingly over the years) looping.

eventually the time came to move on to new live performance styles, but stAllio! didn't want to abandon these techniques... or the dozens of discs of prepared sound. so he brought them into the studio for a planned trilogy of releases. this is the first -- part 1 of a trilogy i haven't named yet.
