Born in the late 1970s in Harrow, North-West London, Stephen grew up listening to a mixture of 80's indie, early synth- and sample-based dance music, the melodic pop of the 80s and his sister's punk records pounding through his bedroom wall.
Stephen describes his music as reflective, introspective yet optimistic.
