間 (ma) is a Japanese aesthetic.
It refers to the space between things
the interval between events
the silence between notes in music
the momentary pauses in a conversation that convey meaning
the nothingness that gives everything around it form.

The music is inspired by my life here, the space, the light, the silence.

This is my first album since the Puff Dragon album, Sazanami in 2005, and though the music is much softer and relaxed (as am I, hopefully), I think there are certain ripples that are still expanding from that time.
