From an early age they said I had a different tune
I bounced off the walls and simply had to be subdued
So they gave me something that that was big enough to chew
For the next 10 years I had a part I didn't use

I took it every day
Made the bad kid go away
I was a cannonball if I didn't take my Adderall

Then it took five more years before I really got a clue
And I realized that it may have affected my whole youth
