Acid Party by Centrikal
Centrikal is the moniker of Patrick Anthony Frye, a DJ, producer, and event organizer based in Portland, Oregon who has released and collaborated with artists such as DJ Slip, Freaky Chakra, and Style of Eye.
A seasoned producer with past releases on labels like SubSensory and Peloton Music, in recent years he’s turned his attention toward the electro breakbeat sound. On his Acid Party EP, he comes out swinging with three booming electro tunes.
The title track is pure 303-styled firepower, with a constantly evolving acid line that's sure to turn up the heat on any dance floor. Here Comes the Sun is a techy affair, with a big chunky low end and playful rhythms. Bounce offers a touch of melody and a deep modulating bassline that perfectly rounds out this fantastic EP.
