The first masterpiece album in 18 years by sugar plant. Indie, acoustic, post-rock, ambient, deep house... Sugar Plant has been weaving genre-bending sounds since the 90s. The CD is finally now available in Bandcamp! The album might be Japan's response to the reevaluation of the shoegaze sound of the past few years, including the revival of Slowdive and Mazzy Star, and the mellow grooves of Rhye, Bonobo, and Cigarettes After Sex.

Formed in 1993. In 2018, we released our first new album in 18 years, "headlights", and released a dub mix the following year.
Mainly in the 90's, we put out 6 albums in Japan, USA and Europe, and successfully toured USA 3 times. And also performed in Taiwan.
We’re working on our new album and live performances.
