sad house by Sunflowers for Sam

I recorded this album on my phone in a day by looping chords and then improvising melodies over them on a miserable gray day in my bedroom. Later that day, my dad wanted to show me this "sad house" he'd noticed near where we live, so I went and took some photos of it. A framed canvas print of one of the photos I took hangs in our kitchen, and another is presented here as album art for this release of the same name. The improvisational aspects of the album were an exercise in challenging perfectionism and, despite some "wrong" notes here or there, I hope you find it accessible and enjoy it as much as I did when I made it!
