Supervoc is a new “jazz” group – ostensibly a piano trio, but performed by two rock musicians. Formed by pianist Matt Baber and drummer Paul Mallyon (doubling on bass duties), Supervoc was brought into existence in the period following the release of the Sanguine Hum album A Trace of Memory, which featured both Matt and Paul playing music in more familiar post-rock/prog-rock territory.
