Dora from SURRIJA by Surrija

Dora Maar. Photographer & Painter, former Picasso lover and muse. She taught him darkroom techniques and importance of art in politics that inspired his major political piece, Guernica 1937. They met in a bar, an introduction that consisted of him in an old suit and her stabbing the space between her fingers with a knife on the bar table. She drew blood, and he kept her glove with the blood stain. She had a confrontation with Marie-Therese Walter that shows up for a moment near the end of this song. It's a way to rewrite this meeting into an alliance.
