VISIONS
"Two minds. One fractured reality. What the visions reveal will tear them apart."
In a crumbling town shrouded by secrets, two strangers—an enigmatic artist and a troubled scientist—find themselves bound by unexplainable visions that defy logic. As their connection deepens, the visions grow darker, revealing fragmented memories, cryptic warnings, and shadowy figures that watch from the periphery.
While one sees a path to salvation, the other senses an unraveling reality. Together, they attempt to decode the haunting messages, but the line between their minds and the nightmares they share begins to blur. With each step closer to the truth, the danger intensifies, and the group they once trusted descends into chaos.
Visions is a chilling journey through fractured psyches and twisted realities, where paranoia and dread intertwine. As the fabric of their existence begins to shred, the final vision will reveal whether the horrors are external—or if they have been there all along.
Prepare to lose yourself in a labyrinth of suspense and surreal terror, where identity, trust, and sanity are torn apart.
1. Walk in Alley - Death
On a quiet night, in the shadow of crumbling buildings, a woman named Margaret stumbles through an alley. Her hands clutch her head in agony as shadowy figures swirl around her. She collapses in a twisted heap, lifeless, her final scream lost in the night. The death sparks whispers of an ancient terror resurging in the town. Evelyn, a haunted artist, sketches the scene in vivid detail, seeing the unseen. Dr. Celeste Hargrove, a determined scientist, investigates the cause, convinced it’s linked to a series of bizarre visions. The town is about to remember what it wants to forget.
2. Driving to Secret Location
Evelyn and Celeste, drawn together by shared cryptic dreams, embark on a perilous journey to a secret research facility where disturbing incidents have been reported. As they drive, silence fills the car, broken only by the hum of the road beneath them. Evelyn feels a growing unease, convinced they are being watched, while Celeste remains focused, her mind racing with scientific theories. As the facility nears, the tension is palpable. They’re on the brink of discovering something monumental, but neither knows just how deeply this journey will shake their understanding of reality. They’re not prepared for what lies ahead.
3. Vision 1: The Sightseer
Inside the research facility, Evelyn and Celeste are immediately confronted with their first shared vision. It begins as an impression—a shadowy figure standing still in a desolate landscape. Its presence is overwhelming, and despite its features being obscured, its gaze is felt. Evelyn feels drawn to the figure, as if it’s a warning, while Celeste insists it’s simply a manifestation of their subconscious minds. The vision shifts, showing a vast emptiness. They begin to understand the figure is not just a part of their minds, but something more—a presence tied to the very fabric of reality itself.
4. Vision 2: Communication
The second vision strikes with more intensity. Whispers fill the air, indistinct and unsettling, while cryptic symbols flash across the walls. Evelyn, increasingly disturbed, sketches the symbols, believing them to be a form of communication. Celeste, ever the skeptic, tries to rationalize it. She begins translating some of the symbols, only to reveal a chilling phrase: “They are here.” The atmosphere in the facility grows thick with tension as the group realizes the visions are not just dreams. They are messages, but from who or what? The boundary between reality and imagination begins to collapse, leaving them vulnerable.
5. Vision 3: Defeated
The group’s psychological toll begins to show. One of the survivors, overwhelmed by the growing visions, isolates herself. She repeatedly mutters about “them” and their plans. As the group attempts to calm her, she collapses into a catatonic state, her body shaking as though resisting the pull of an unseen force. Before going silent, she utters, “They’ve already won.” Her words hang in the air, casting a pall over the group. Evelyn, increasingly haunted by the visions, sketches the face of a being that looks eerily familiar but isn’t anyone present. A sense of dread settles in.
6. Coma - Tension Between the Group
The comatose survivor’s condition worsens, her breathing shallow and erratic. As the group huddles around her, their tempers flare. Celeste argues that they need to push forward, using the machine to decipher the visions, while Evelyn insists the group is descending into madness. Paranoia spreads. Evelyn becomes more and more convinced that the visions are not just warnings, but an inescapable fate. Tensions rise as distrust between the survivors grows, especially when another member begins hearing whispers in the dark. The atmosphere in the facility is stifling—none of them know if what’s happening is real or an illusion.
7. Unconsciousness - Reality and Unwanted Visitors
As the comatose survivor mutters incomprehensible phrases, the facility’s power flickers and goes out. The group is plunged into darkness. Evelyn is convinced that the “unseen ones” are moving through the facility, invisible but tangible. Celeste refuses to entertain these thoughts, chalking it up to stress-induced hallucinations. But when one of the survivors, separated from the group, screams and disappears without a trace, the line between reality and nightmare begins to fracture. Shadows seem to move on their own, and when the power returns, the group is left with more questions than answers—are the visitors real, or are they just in their heads?
8. We Build Machines
Desperate to make sense of the visions, Celeste insists on building a machine to record them, despite Evelyn’s warnings. The device, an intricate assembly of wires and old equipment, is designed to amplify the hallucinations and give them physical form. When the machine is activated, the visions grow clearer, but they are more terrifying than ever. The shadowy figures now take shape, moving through the images in a way that suggests they aren’t mere projections, but entities that exist in another dimension. Evelyn begins to fear they are opening a gateway to something beyond human understanding—a doorway that should never be opened.
9. Scanning for Life
Celeste’s machine scans for signs of life beyond their known reality. The readings are unsettling—something exists in the same space, but it’s not part of their world. The entity is conscious, aware of their presence, and it begins to make itself known through the machine’s projections. Evelyn recoils in terror as the figure from their visions appears in full form, its movements jerky, unnatural. Celeste insists that it’s a sign they’re on the right path, but Evelyn can’t shake the feeling that they’ve triggered something catastrophic. The boundary between worlds has thinned, and there’s no telling what might step through next.
10. A New World
The machine opens a rift, and for the first time, the group steps into the landscape they’ve seen in their visions. It is barren, a wasteland of twisted, decaying structures and skies heavy with an unnatural fog. The air feels suffocating, as though they are trespassing in a place that wasn’t meant for them. Evelyn feels a deep unease, as though the land itself rejects their presence. Celeste, however, is fascinated by the strange world, believing it holds the key to understanding the visions. But as they venture further, strange sounds echo from the dark corners of the world—a warning that they may not leave.
11. Evil Lives Here
As they explore deeper into this alternate realm, the group uncovers disturbing remnants of their own world twisted beyond recognition. Familiar objects—photographs, furniture—are altered, corrupted by the darkness. Evelyn’s suspicions grow as she realizes the watchers are not invaders but always present, lingering just beyond the veil of their reality. The evil has been here all along, hidden in plain sight. The group’s desperation to return home intensifies, but the fabric of their world and the shadow realm begins to blur. There is no going back. The true horror is that the nightmare was already within them.
12. Final Vision
The ultimate vision reveals the horrific truth: the watchers have always existed alongside humanity, pulling strings from the shadows, manipulating reality itself. Their plan is to merge the two worlds, erasing all differences between them and overtaking human existence. The survivors must decide whether to sacrifice themselves to sever the connection or allow the dimensions to merge, with humanity doomed to become part of this dark, endless void. Evelyn and Celeste are forced to confront their greatest fear: that the visions were never random, but a preordained course leading to this cataclysmic end.
