here's a story about existing in a liminal space
or at least, bits and pieces of my existence, past and present, on the threshold of a future i actually want, as i wait out its arrival

maybe it's not for the feint of heart, or those with highly sensitive sensibilities, but this release is basically my soul ripping open to expose a bundle of raw nerves

there's only so much a grim sense of humour and a tongue in my cheek can do to soften the blow of substance abuse, physical vulnerability, egregious mental illness, gender dysphoria, being broke and feeling distress at sitting between two worlds, one you are desperate to leave behind for the other
but i wrote this album for myself more than anyone else
it's what i wanted to do and sometimes that doesn't factor in everyone else in the world

who knows if anyone will like it? maybe it doesn't matter

i chose not to write out the lyrics here on bandcamp
it's not grindcore, it's rap - you can decipher what i'm saying
it's a pretty blunt and transparent album, there's not much mystery to the lyrics, i'd rather you listen to them than than read from liner notes

as an aside, i deliberately abstracted my voice a little for this release
i'm not faking anything, i'm just making things tolerable to my own ears in the context of this little album
dysphoria is a cunt, i haven't come far with vocal feminisation therapy and y'know, fuck it?
nothing about how i sound here changes who i know i am
