twenty minutes by synkrotron
why twenty minutes?
a couple of reasons...
I struggled to make my mind up what to call the three twenty minute long piece I am presenting here and I originally uploaded them to YouTube with the very names you see here
I tried looking for the usual name inspirations and nothing, well, inspired me
and the artwork... I wanted to do something quite abstract with Chaotica and the graphics were simply not matching any of the titles I was dreaming up
so I decided to stick with the names I had assigned each of them on YouTube
each piece is performed live during one of my livestreams I did during January and February and they are there to watch, though there is not much to see really
yet again I have gone very much down the drone path with a bit of guitar, some synth stuff and some sequencer parts, except for the last piece which I refer to as a "zero beats per minute" thing
as well as my modular system I decided to turn on my old JP-8000 and OB-12 synths and my eldest son's Mini Brute was also used
apologies for making you listen to my sometimes dubious playing... this is very much a warts and all affair with no overdubs, although because I am able to record multiple tracks I did do some basic mixing and EQ adjustments
