Just a plain ole feel-good album with the typical array of sonic textures that have come to be expected of the Colossal Head. Imagine if Jim Henson and Brian Wilson went to the bubble wrap factory and got stuck on the elevator with Roger Miller and Crazy Horse. With nothing but kazoos and a tambourine. And 70's Hong Kong cinema on the TV with no sound. They're all wearing bright, dusty bunny suits with mustard stains. The air conditioning kicks on, entrancing them all with the ribbon on the vent cover. Whitten finds a banjo in his pocket, plugs it into a wah-wah, and gives Molina a wink....

As an album, there is no particular genre. It is very much a track-by-track assessment. By and large, TWO is greatly derivative of psychedelic pop, 70's funk, Appalachian murder ballads, 40's ragtime, and various British-American styles.

Most of all, it's fun.
