The 10 year anniversary of TAG brought this sunny album and a host of awards. Sunny Days was the first TAG CARA win for Best High School Album. It was also the first time a high school group swept all three high school categories in the same year. The song "American Boy" became the first high school song selected to appear on the Voices Only compilation album and stunned everyone by earning a nomination for Best R&B/Hip Hop Song along side The Pentatonix.
"TAG (The A Cappella Group, though the branding as "TAG" is rather clever) avoids all these pitfalls deftly. Unlike some premiere collegiate groups, TAG has a clear-cut sound that has been cultivated over several albums. TAG This, the group's last release, established TAG's sound: bright and highly precise, with an emphasis on soulful solos on top of driving, tight rhythmic backgrounds. This sound continues through onto Sunny Days, which is the sonic equivalent of a summer drive on the highway. Absolutely no instruments were used in the making of this recording, however, several singers were sunburned during the photo session.

The A Cappella Group is a mixed group from Cypress Lake Center for the Arts. The group, which was founded in 2003, is recognized as one of the elite groups in the nation. Overall, their albums have received 10 CARA awards and 45 CARA nominations, holding the record for most nominations for any high school group. They have earned an appearance at the ICHSA Finals in New York City three times.
