knights are bold to dream on her to wear her coloured ribbons
and heaven can only deliver, the promise of summer in winter

you took your passing pleasure, on the high seas of adventure
in Arabic gold and cinnabar, and the places of buried treasure
to turn and run with the weather, the tokens of romance forever
and safe from the storm in the harbour to the arms of my flower seller
