Originally formed in 2003 to play what was supposed to be a one-time show for the release of Anthony "Dub" Welch's first solo album, The Dub Project became a full-time band, playing regularly and building a small following. The group disbanded in 2006. Fast forward to 2013 and Welch wrote another solo album. A new lineup was put together to punish audiences with the band's punishing, groove riffs
