The Surprise from Spectrum Station by Nich Longe

This song is about when the woman of our story comes home and surprises her partner with the the two tickets to Spectrum Station. The beginning of the song uses a hopeful but melancholy string section to symbolize the couple’s drudgery but hopeful personalities. The synth represents the wife’s enthusiastic arrival. The drop is both their hearts rising together and begging our journey forward. The rest of the song is them excitedly preparing for the adventure together. You can hear the buzzing and excitement until the end. The last string section you hear in the song is the synchronized last breath as the adventure begins. I like to picture the couple arriving at the spaceport with their belongings looking at the transport ship knowing that they’ve made it to the “Starting” line.
