With menacing confessions of bass up his sleeve, NonLes dives deep into his passions and introduces his self-titled EP, a heavily trance-inspired potion of inflated low-end, and ambitious acid. Forging an elegant marriage of older influences and new rave sounds, the artist conducts a bold trip bereft of a chance to rest.
“Now or Never” possesses unwavering vigor despite its temperate escalation. Metallic transients twirl in the stereo field unaffected by the incredibly round bassline and by the time you come to your senses, you’re being hypnotized by impeccable groove, reverberating vocals, and bawling acid.
Intros out of the way, NonLes gets ready to speed things up with “Dope Dome”. A more dormant and squeaky acidline takes over, paired with delectable stabs and soaring FXx. This gives rise to an alien-like arena of sound, a place that will soon become the final destination of this voyage.
“From Matrix With Love” erupts with electrifying vocal cuts and steaming percussion, never letting go of the raw momentum a distorted 303 configures. The artist sends love to the listener straight from the matrix, elating in warped sounds and a cascade of collisions.
