Was thinking about how each time you remember something, you're really just remembering the memory of the last time you remembered that thing. That got me thinking about remembering photographs of memories, instead of the memories themselves, and then remembering memories of photographs, everything fading a little further with each iteration. I imagine that's how we end life, with everything eventually just fading into the white.
