Red Gold by The Red Krayola

Less an Introduction, more a get-together with old friends. This gold is soaked red with the blood of the Krayola...and maybe a few others.

Founded by Mayo Thompson in Houston TX in 1966, the band has expanded and contracted repeatedly in the 50-plus years since, their alumni including Frederick Barthelme, Gina Birch, David Grubbs, Geroge Hurley, Lora Logic, John McEntire, Jim O’Rourke, Epic Soundtracks and Tom Watson. They’ve released 13 albums on labels including International Artists, Radar Records, Rough Trade and Drag City.
