Car Fighter by MarkR
"Car Fighter" is a new album by MarkR. The cover of the album was conceived more than 10 years ago as part of a print portfolio of fake 7-inch singles. This 7-song album of car-related songs was finally flushed out sonically and is available as of today. It seems that no one is using the term "hard rock" anymore, so I'll go ahead and borrow it to describe these songs. This collection of hard rock songs touch on a range of subjects, including: battling predatory (or distractedly piloted) cars, touring, the hubris of the healthy, not sleeping, high school, and the drama and minutia of post-apocalyptic life.
Dairy Queen is referenced by name in two different songs on this album.
