Whiteside’s freely, darkly, deeply embraces open-ended interpretation and electronic manipulation, while Gleave’s Small Haven weaves intimate violin lines with haunting electronics. Lloyd’s caprices esquisses push the violin to its limits, embracing wolf tones, subharmonics, and unstable timbres. Girard-Charest’s Mue navigates the fragility of change, and Medekšaitė’s Mishra Pilu unfolds as a hypnotic tapestry of Indian raga-inspired textures.
