The Album
I composed this 1986 and was clearly influenced by Brian Eno's Ambient I: Music for Airports. Like its model I would recommend listening at a soft volume and even in the background. There is a "sonic wallpaper" quality to be enjoyed. In 1986 I sold the dubbed cassettes by mail order out of my studio. A few years later it had a limited commercial cassette run via World Room Music.
Usually I create a title before, during or after composing a piece. In this case, I had no titles in mind and used/consulted the I Ching for these two titles. "I" means Providing Nourishment. "Shih Ho" is Biting Through.
