Made by Tom @ Sounds & Substance amongst the trees and sheep of East Kingston, NH. (Yeah, but what did I actually DO? Well, I'm glad you asked. On this track I'm playing piano, my trusty old G&L SB1 bass (had it since 1992 or so), Yamaha EX5 for the rhodes-y business, one of my DBZ guitars through the Fractal AXE-FX IIxl, some Korg Lambda string synth, and a Studiologic Sledge for the grittier synth sounds. Rhythms are a combination of soft synth instruments. There's a textural loop in there I made earlier this year and I have no clue what I used to make that. I used some rain and thunder, too. The song was written and put together in ProTools as I am wont to do, using lotsa Valhalla and DMG plugins and maybe a couple of Waves things (that H-Delay is hard to not love). Written in the loft using Neumann KH310 monitors/NHT subs and an SPL Phonitor 2 controller (and Audeze LCD-x headphones), and then mastered downstairs on my Dynaudio M2s with their own dual subs and SPL crossover, driven by Hothouse amplification from a Cranesong Avocet II mastering converter. Artwork was made in Canva from a pic I took at Salisbury Beach State Reservation. Bagels used in the production of this song were provided by Abraham's in Newburyport, and consumed using properly salted butter.)
