Nightfall by 𝕿𝖗𝖆𝖘𝖌𝖔

A gentle breeze carries the moonlight gently through the night, caressing the leaves and creating ripples in the busy streams that mark the landscape like a labyrinth of branches. Under the infinite gaze of the nightsky, the birds sing, the predators hunt, and the prey hide in the dark corners of the woods.

But soon, this gentle breeze will carry thunderous screams of war and the smokes of infernal machines of war. An old darkness will engulf the kingdoms of man, already darkened by the poisonous industry of its technological progress. For too long has humanity ruled the surface of this world, eating through it like acid, building castles to defy the skies and burning in ironclad arrogance the world it belongs to. For in the darkest, mustiest depths, long forgotten, an old enemy stirs, ready to torn asunder both the flesh and the spirit of humankind.

For too long have humanity's true predators traded open war with occasional skirmishes, raids, torture and village burnings. For too long have their dark, sinister dungeons been used as mere ways to kill time and the occasional adventurer. Soon, these sun-drenched lands will learn again that not every force in this world is as easy to dominate as wood, water and stone.

Soon, the earth will tremble under the hellish march of dark armies, the nightsky will be darkened by the smokes of the burning civilization, and the wind will carry de desparing cries of a species that thought itself the only ruler of the land.

Under cover of darkness, the moonlight finds itself caught in the malicious gaze of Trasgo's eyes, who patiently waits, lurking, observing, planning. Soon, very soon, unending armies of goblins, orcs, ogres and trolls will teach humanity a lesson: no king lives forever.

For a new reign of darkness! TO THE DEATH!
