Tierce Alarmante by Tresque

Certain markers of urgency can drive the body into a state of unwitting impulsions, and the deployment of these in their multiple forms is the ceaseless pursuit of Tresque. Shrill tones pulsate alongside the beating frequencies of a most somatic sound experience, in forms of antipodean music that will either induce full-on meditative states or their complete opposite.

"Alarmante" is a new set created in 2021 by TRESQUE (a.k.a d'incise), an oscillating and electrified ride, carried by a dub love and a few eardrums ticklings, conveying the dance to whoever or whatever that would feel to in the merry assembly. Doing so Tresque takes distance with its original formula to turn more abstract by accumulating layers of raw pulses all from circuits in feedback (mixer, spring reverb, filter, tube preamp).

Tresque it’s the name of an almost forgotten medieval dance turned into “an idea of techno”.. or into dub,.. or into ~~~~... The tension between statism and evolution, is shaping grooves by reducing them to a simpler and shorter form. In circular movements, Tresque carves his music out of samples and amplified noises using dub techniques and influenced by musique concrète.
