Sex Rocket by Tycho Brahe

In January 2011, Tycho Central, the band's studio, was destroyed by floods which devastated the city of Brisbane. Fortunately, all of the studio equipment had been evacuated out of Tycho Central ahead of the flood, and after a time in storage it was relocated to a temporary site. The studio arrangement was rudimentary and not suitable for vocal recording, so the previously shelved "novelty" song Sex Rocket featuring vocoder in place of vocals was recorded whilst the band worked to properly rebuild Tycho Central over a period of 15 months.

Australian synthpop band Tycho Brahe was founded in Brisbane in 1993 by Ken Evans and Georgina Emery.
Based out of Tycho Central, a bunker full of vintage synthesisers, drum machines and science fiction memorabilia, Tycho Brahe has shared the stage with acts such as The Human League, VNV Nation, John Foxx, Covenant, Pseudo Echo, and Real Life.
