Through the trees he prowls
Grown
Fed by the hunt
Hyperventilationg
Terror in a mother's eyes
A child no more
Left too close to dark

Feast upon him
Dazzled
Spinning plates
A juggler's wish
His sharpened maw
Glistens

The shroud that rips

Deep in silence, his dreams persist
For nature's touch, the sky's light
