Credits
released January 15, 2014
This album is dedicated to isolation, loneliness, repeated failure, lack of critical and financial success, stubbornness, frustration, abandonment, lethargy, indifference, struggle, pain, taking too long, paid dues never cashing in, mediocrity, fingers too cold to operate, brothers going separate ways, darkness, negativity, starvation, addiction, alcohol, cheap equipment, writing the same song over and over again, dissatisfaction, striving hopelessly for perfection, criticism, social circles, backstabbing and shit talking, lack of criticism, the scene, adopting personas and playing parts, commercialization, commodification, death, decomposition.
Signs of spring include: My friend and longtime collaborator Mike the Maitre’d Cochran, without whom this album would never have come out. Reaper the Storyteller, who is a real professional and a great human being. My family and loved ones, especially my dad who is always there to make sure the album art / formatting / printing happens on time. My friends that support my need to be creative. My fellow SLC / Ogden / Provo / Utah hip hoppers who continue to push the envelope and build together towards something greater.
Always remember that following even the coldest winter is renewal, and the promise of light and new growth. I love you all, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening to my music.
All songs written, composed, performed, recorded and produced by Untytled, except #s 1 and 7 which feature beats by Mike C the Maitre’d, and track #s 2, 4, 6, 9+11, which feature additional production by Mike C the Maitre’d; and track #12 which features additional vocals by Reaper the Storyteller. All songs mixed by Mike C the Maitre’d. All songs mastered by Untytled. Album art by Untytled, with help from Chris Montague.
