Depictions and descriptions of the experience of physical, remembered, and imagined places through the dual lenses of fear and fascination. The subtle shift from everyday to ominous that can occur with a change in the light, a passing thought snagged on sharp uncanniness, a daydream left out too long and gone cold after nightfall.
The self-cycling circles of thrill and terror, excitement and desperation, found in the space between storytelling and paranoia. The capacity for simultaneous beauty and foreboding in a place, and our capacity to follow that duality just too far to tell the difference.
Visions manifested, of fear, of meaning, of sensation, and the rituals of fascination, of memory, of superstition with which we bind and remake them. All are lost again. All are found again.
