The Hitcher
He was driving alone, the night was cold and wet.
The radio was on, it played a Johnny Burnette..
Radio 10 FM and ‘Radio Gaga’ by Queen.
Commercial break: ‘Soap Flakes’, that’s when he noticed a sheen.
The glitter in the blackness of her skin, so pretty it was almost a sin.
Her dress accentuated her thighs, he was oblivious of her disguise.
He pulled over the car, and put the gear in reverse.
It seem so bizarre, as he was driving a hearse:
Driving home from work, a silent job on the side.
The hitcher hopped in smiling, sat beside him astride.
Indeed she could have portrayed a dream,
she whispered: “Hi” and suddenly screamed.:
“I wanna go home and I’m cold”, so he leant her his Burberry coat.
He dropped her of home, she was so much obliged.
She said she’ll phone, she would find him online.
He said: “OK that’s fair just keep an eye on the coat”.
She nodded yes got out and left an odor of oats.
It seemed it was just too good to be true,
a warm sensation dripped in his shoe.
Apparently he pissed in his pants:
The dude was completely in LOVE!!!
He knocked on a door, it took him weeks to locate.
A hell of a chore. The pride had him inflate.
An elder lady grinned: “ come in would like a cup of tea?”
He said: “ No thanks, I’m fine. I’ve to come to get my coat and flea.”
He told her what had happened that night, the hitcher in a terrible plight.
Trying to keep the story curtail. He noticed the old lady turned pale.
The hitcher he had picked happened to be the old lady’s girl.
Her daughter perished in car crash exactly; two years ago.
The elder lady showed him the grave, as her visitor began to rave.
He found his coat on the grave.
He found his coat on the grave
He found his coat on the grave
