V.I.V.E.K continues his 140 expedition with 4 new forward thinking explorations.
Ghosts harks back to eerie, almost lo-fi haunting. A thick bassline pushes the rolling percussion forward with old skool synth pads delivering an atmospheric darkness that reverts to almost old skool Metalheadz.
Back then is a play on a more jungle-esque style at 140. Edited breaks with a heavy 808 bassline is the flavour. Reversed pianos and tape delays enhance the old skool atmospherics of this track. Old skool but sounding fresh.
Tek1 is a nod to Detroit. Minimoog style bass opening and changing all the way through the track with a fantastic melodic feel. You can't help but nod your head to this.
Finally Garrison ends the exploration with a dancehall style beat. Heavy bassline and whispering synths push the progression of the track .
