Ébredj from Vaú by Rdei
Adam Rdei, class ’87, is an hungarian electronic producer and guitar player from Debrecen.
After faint and accomplished ambient experiments, VAU’ is his first official release.
According to a personal urgency of an animistic and organic “truth”, the whole EP is looking for sound’s authenticity: live chords and guitar licks, spatial depth given by a dense use of field-recordings, the inclination to leave VSTs behind in favour of an entirely DIY approach.
The plot is dark and mysterious, floating between ambient and techno upon a more extensive “lo:fi” playground.
