Four tracks that ideally follow the life cycle of a butterfly through a journey of arpeggios and beats, with two piano-only bonus tracks and a rework by the Canadian techno producer Van Did.
"I worked on elements subtraction, on a very classical musical structure, using various elements to recall my childhood feelings and the lucid dreams. I wanted an original sound environment so I did not equalized too much my Prophet 08 and I kept low mastering levels to be in harmony with my DIY approach. For the bonus tracks I used an old, slightly detuned piano, recorded in open space. I placed the microphones very close to the hammers to clearly feel their presence like in a sort of carillon. An imperfect toy lost somewhere in the remote space/time of my memory.โ
