Outdoor Fire by Wanted Sound

Outdoor fireplace recording at night.

These sounds are recorded in mono. Using a shotgun mic I was able to capture sounds from the heart of the fire. Wood crackles and air escapes as it burns. In the distance there is distant talking which adds a ghostly, spooky vibe as the sound of the voices reverberates down the forest trail.
We were staying in a forest cabin at Mátra, Sástó, Hungary, and got a nice fire going on which we cooked langos, which is a fantastic Hungarian delicacy!
