After having more than 10 releases, Germany's instrumental post rock outfit We Deserve This has released a brand new EP 'Propaganda' on 08 March, 2015. This time however, WDT has a surprise for all of us - Michael Bufe is now a permanent member of this project.
Although we've had our fair share of enjoyment with WDT's previous releases, the inclusion of Michael Bufe into the mix has certainly changed a lot of things, such as, the overall dynamics and the usual style of music. His brilliant guitar skills brings forth a certain airiness in the songs, most notable heard in songs 'A Certain Memory' and 'Propaganda'. And the best part is, they haven't forgotten the post hardcore roots of the original WDT, so
there is still plenty of room for headbanging. Moreover, the fantastic album art portraying a dilapidated room sets the tone of this EP beautifully. And of course, one should respect the noteworthy persistence and perseverance of WDT's frontman, Jan Platek who has consistently kept releasing new albums, each time raising the bar in the process.
