Recorded 21st March 2025, initial testing session for Stairs, a stereo multimode analog ladder filter from After Later Audio.

PATCH NOTES:

Outputs 1 and 2 from Ornament & Crime (Quadraturia), novel waveform at 214.83 hertz, sent to L/R inputs of Stairs stereo ladder filter. Allen Synthesis EuroPi (Harmonic LFOs) sent five different curved sample & hold waveforms (1/7, 2/3, 3/6, 4/32, 5/17) to modulation inputs for Stairs' left and right frequency control, global frequency control, bias control (starve) and resonance control. A sixth waveform (6/23) was sent from EuroPi to Links 1:3 multiple, with two mults sent into MISO for inversion/attenuation, which were then routed into CV inputs 2 and 3 on Ornament, modulating the shape of the wavetable and the phase/frequency spread between outputs 1 and 2. Stairs' eight outputs - left and right outputs for high pass, band pass and both 12 and 24 decibel slope low pass - all sent to Doepfer A-138s and Toppobrillo Minimix stereo mixers for panning and mixing. Recorded live in GoldWave at 16 bit-depth and 48000 hertz sampling rate. Post-proc included selective time-domain pitch shifting.
