"ǣfensang - a form of worship sung in the evening"
Evensong is, to me, a prayer to the darkness. I'm trying to learn to pay reverence to this unknown within me. There is much that is frightening about this—this darkness, this unseen "evil" behind the door—but ignoring has thus far never served me well. This collection of music is the result of my attempts to sit with this demon and try to listen to it's song; to love it for what it is.
