The songs on Monterey Motel are letters exchanged between friends during a year and a half of broken bones, hard times, and glimmers of better days. Living 2000 miles apart, Garreth Paul and Jason Stumpf wrote and recorded this album with the help of friends Lindy Eldred (vocals), Paul Beebe (drums & production), and Sarah Millenary (fiddle).
