BIO DATA-X is a project by Julio César Palacio, focused on the processing animal sound recordings from Colserolla, a mountain on the outskirts of Barcelona where he lives.

Julio César Palacio is an experimental music composer, sound artist and architect based in Barcelona. An artist and sound explorer, Julio uses a combination of analog sound, field recordings and digital sound processing to compose micro-tonal, abstract, arrhythmic music. His sound research is focused on the studies of sonic phenomena, the range of the human auditory perception, bio-acoustics and the recollection of sonic eco-data.
