Sensory Overlord by Wolfgirls

When life gets too much, it becomes impossible to maintain proper communication with people, even your closest ones. You constantly feel overwhelmed and the easiest tasks become arduous. It's always unpredictable when it happens again, and the writing and making of this album fell precisely in the midst of such a time, which proved to be quite challenging.

A variety of personal and interpersonal issues, fears, events, all of it piled up into one continuous sensory overload, personified as the Sensory Overlord, who has taken complete control over my life. Throughout this album an attempt (not necessarily a successful one) is made to reach closure and/or find a solution to the problems mentioned. More sombre and harsh in tone, Sensory Overlord is a gradual descent into stupor, apathy and despair.
