IX=? A by Xavier Bonfill
IX=? A is an EP with remixes and outtakes that belong to the orbits of the "9=0" album. "IX=?" stands for "9=0" in Roman numbers (there's no 0!). The "A" stands for a forthcoming "B" release ;-)
1st track features Kamutao's groovy hip hop mix of "1000 cucs": "1000 cookies" that will keep you partying.
The 2nd track is a wild affair, not for the faintest ones. Maine Koon deconstructs not one but two compositions from "9=0"; "orquestra de maniquís" and "n9u" in a 6+ minute ride.
The final track is and alternate take from "inesperada (sala d')espera". When 9=0 was recorded we decided that this track needed to be performed "live" in the studio, to maintain its free improvisation vibe. While on the album is featured the 3rd and final take, here is the first take that we ever did. That's what CINEMASCOPE do in the early morning, right after (sometimes even before) breakfast.
